All I can say is WOW…well it’s actually not all I can say as I am about to write a blog…haha, but you know what I mean.
I am so touched by all of your comments and well wishes. I also loved all the funny questions and observations.
So in response to all of these, this blog is going to answer a lot of the questions you guys have and maybe give you a little more insight into who I really am…as a person.
When did you find out about the INQ articles?
I found about all this stuff almost a year ago. I know what you are thinking, “why hasn’t she done this before now?”. Well there are a lot of reasons, but basically it just hadn’t worked out until recently. I of course contacted The INQ right away and they talked to my agent and we got the ball rolling. We were in talks for me to come to London and have some event….but it all seemed to be such short notice, so that did not end up working out. Then in November I did the Podcast for The INQ (which was really fun by the way). I was going to do more, but then the holidays came around and next thing I knew The INQ was going through their acquisition with VNU Media….so they were all pretty busy and the whole thing just sort of got put on the backburner. Which was fine…but i started getting frustrated with it not going anywhere, so I took it upon myself to make this blog….which by the way I am super proud of because I did the whole thing by myself…not knowing HTML, and learning how to work with an FTP, etc….although I have to give major kudos to Wordpress and all of its awesome members who help each other out, and of course to the designer of this template who makes it really easy to use and personalize. Anyway, I just got impatient and started this whole blog to see what I could do with this crazy thing that has happened to me. I of course have the utmost respect for The INQ and am still in contact with them. I am soooo grateful for them, because without them this whole thing wouldn’t even have happened. So we may still end up working together in the future…if you have any suggestions for them, you should let them know (they are probably reading this, and thinking “nooooooooo, that will be so annoying”…sorry guys!…hahaha).
How is the acting going?
My acting career is going well. It is a hard industry to get into, but I am making great progress. I have been in dozens of plays, I have a commercial running here in the States, I have done several short and independent films, some of which have made it to festivals such as Sundance and Outfest. I have a great agency with two awesome one-of-a-kind agents. They are diamonds in the rough here is Los Angeles. So yes, it is going well and it has been my passion for many many years. I feel blessed. I do hope that this may help my career, but whatever happens is fine…I am just having fun with it for now.
Do you kick yourself for not asking for royalties?
Well as much as it would have been nice to get royalties, I did not have that option. That just isn’t how this stock photo thing worked. It’s not like they gave me the choice, you know? My agent at the time actually got me a great rate…more than people usually make for stock photo shoots, so i can’t complain. Plus Portland does not really have a ton of acting work, so I was lucky.
And no, of course I won’t do that again, duh.
Do you still have the hat? You should auction it, etc.
As I mentioned in my previous blog, the hat actually wasn’t even mine…it was the wardrobe/makeup girl’s. So no, I do not still have the hat.
Oh and someone mentioned my “dog collar” necklace….hahahaha……I LOVED that necklace and used to wear it every day…it was very much in style then and I got compliments on it all the time, so there! AND, I still have it…..it’s broken and I am not sure where it is right now, but I may have to bust it out soon!
Do you get recognized on the street?
I do not get recognized, thank goodness! I think that would be weird….BUT I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have gotten an email or phone call from a friend or family member telling me they saw me on a website, a book, or some random product.
The very first time I knew my photo was being used was about 6 months after the shoot when a friend showed me an issue of Cosmopolitan that had an ad for an advice talk line with me on it. VERY WEIRD for me…..and that was just the tip of the iceberg….the tip of the tip! In fact I am building an archive of the stuff I have collected over the years and will post them on here at some point….tons of stuff that The INQ never knew about and stuff that includes that other part of the photo shoot I was talking about in my previous post.
In fact a guy named Fred wrote a comment about how I sold everything including fire extinguishers….did you really see me on one Fred? I would love that…hahaha!
When can I get a T-shirt or mug with Everywhere Girl on it?
I definitely plan on having a lot of fun products for sale soon. I also will give stuff away via contests and such! It will be cool, so stay tuned!
Do you own a PC and if so, what brand?
I am assuming you are asking because I seem to “sell” a lot of different computer brands. Well I currently have a DELL…very fitting since I have also been called The Dell Girl…. I love it and would definitely recommend one….and no I am not getting paid by them…I wish!!!
Actually Shakey wrote something about me getting my hemp backpack from The Dell Guy who got busted for possession of marijuana….the funny thing is, he used to live in my first apartment building in L.A.!
That is about it for the questions, but here are a couple of random things that people talked about.
*My smile…a lot of people compliment me on my smile…thank you very much, but of course I cannot take credit for this….I got it from my dad and with a little help from my awesome Orthodontist when I was younger…yes I had braces…it turned out very nice!
*My hair color…I know in the popular shot it looks like I have red hair, but I actually don’t. I am a natural blonde but I used to dye my hair all the time so I think it just had a little bit of a reddish tint to it at the time.
Shout-Outs~
Thank you to Reedie who pointed out to me that Reed College is in SE Portland, not SW. DUH, I can’t believe I messed that up….haha I had friends that went there!
Thank you to Roger for actually letting me know what a clothes horse is….I could have looked it up but I was sort of hoping someone would tell me….kudos to you Roger!
Thank you to all the people who mentioned that I will have to deal with nut jobs and creepy people and not to get discouraged. I have been a little hurt and shocked by some of the comments written (I obviously did not approve them, so you won’t know what they are)…I am a sensitive soul and will definitely have to get a thicker skin ASAP! There are a lot of mean-spirited people in this world, but they are easily forgotten when you get so much love and support from so many good people as well…so thank you again! I did have to keep the comments about me looking fat and being pasty and pale though….those were funny!
And THANK YOU to all the people who have “bought me lunch”! I put the donation thing up not expecting a dime (more at the suggestion of my friends and family), but people have been so generous!
That brings me to one more thing I wanted to touch on…relating to both the donations and the mean-spirited people. I realize that this blog has ads on it and a donation section, etc. I am just trying to be a savvy business woman who is taking advantage of a weird situation. At first I did not want to put ads or the donation thing on here, because I didn’t want this to be about that or get accused of selling out. But after discussing with the important and influential people in my life, I went ahead with it. People have always talked about how unfair it is that I have not gotten any money for all this, so I am just thinking maybe it will pay off in a different way…I am more hoping for some exposure than money….although money is always nice!
This blog will always be a work in progress and I can promise that any ads on here will always be something I truly believe in. For example…I truly love Firefox! Tabbed browsing is awesome…that is why I have the button on my site for it, more than anything. Unfortunately I have had a few very rude comments saying that I was selling out, or just money hungry or whatever. It really hurt my feelings because I am just not that way, and never have been, and never will. So now that I have said that I feel better…oh and you should visit this great site and buy this awesome product…hahaha…just kiddin’.
Well I hope that you found this blog somewhat interesting. I will of course be writing a ton more soon…but I love your questions, comments and suggestions….so keep ‘em coming!

Looking forward to all the links that the INQ missed.
You are certainly not selling out. While I believe everybody has a buy price, a few ads to cover the cost of the website and some spare spending cash is far from selling out…hope you make millions.
Best wishes with the acting career.
Fare well Everywhere Girl where ever you may fare.
Nice piece! Looks like you’re doing quite well on the ‘ole acting front. And it turns out the Everywhere Girl can write too; Whodathunkit?
It’s great to know you’re enjoying your turn under the spotlight. I hope you can parlay your success into something that will push your career onto the fast track.
I sure am looking forward to seeing more ads from your extensive archive, and hope at some point you can post a link to your TV ad.
Oh, and sign me up for one of those fancy t-shirts. With any luck, if enough people buy them, you’ll get folks sending you pictures of them wearing the shirts in ever-more obscure places. The Everywhere Girl will then be literally living up to her name.
I can imagine that being a bit bizarre, imagine running into someone in the street with your photo on their t-shirt.
CafePress.com has a way to quickly and easily make mugs and tees and other things with your photo on them. (no i don’t work for them).
Congrats on the acting jobs. Theatre rules. It’s kinda fun to see this site and read about the Everywhere girl in her own words. Thanks for putting it up and sharing your experiences.
FYI, if I saw you in the street, I would totally ask for your autograph.
Best of luck!!
You realy became famous the inq and very successful by yourself alone, share your secret with us!
Good luck with the acting. Exposure seems to be one of the biggest factors in success, so this site should help. It’ll be cool when I get to say of you “Sure, she’s a big star now, but I knew about her when she was the Everywhere Girl”. That’s really my motive for encouragement. I’m very selfish.
Just a ditto note on CafePress – my wife uses them for her fantasy and wildlife art, and they will give you a better commission than any traditional outlet.
Plus, you have no minimum print run
Good luck!

Everywhere girl you are clearly multi-talented, and you should get paid for whatever that gets you. You need to make money and I applaud your efforts to run with this. Selling out? Whatever. Are the rest of us selling out when we go to work in the morning? Make every penny you can, while you can. Good luck always Everywhere Girl!!!
I will also like to be able to say I knew about everywhere girl before she was big….
Hi E.G.!
I have to point out in regards to “Selling out” – are they nutz?! You’re famous for being in ADS!!
It would be perfect if an ad turned up here using the Everywhere Girl photo stock!!
It’s only fair that those who are upset not visit again thus depriving you of the revenue. Me, I think I’ll click an ad… :>
Pay no attention to the mean pinheads.
Hey, maybe you should add a Fan Fiction section to the site. We could all submit the stories that we’ve all been dreaming up to explain your many exciting adventures as a jet-lagged Dell-using actuary wearing a nice hat, etc.
On second thought, if you think you’ve been getting strange comments so far, just wait until you read your first Everywhere Girl-Harry Potter crossover fanfic.
Wow! OH! WOWIE!!!

Keep it up girl you got it goin on! Your like so digital! By the way that cracks me up about the Dell Dude, that he lived in your apartment complex. I’ve been following your story on the Inq. for quite awhile. Got many kicks out of the pursuit. And also when they finally found you. Keep us posted on how it goes…
Hello Everywhere Girl,
I’ve been following your story on INQ for a while now. Good for you for “becoming the Everywhere Girl”. As for the mean-spirited people, ignore them, they’re a bunch of jealous !@#%!@. Good luck with the acting career. If you make it to Toronto Film Festival, I’ll buy you lunch ;P
About the creepy people and the mean comments:
How about instead of getting a thicker skin you just remember that they are souls too poor to see value in others. Of course their perception and comments are wrong. They spring out of their own feeling of worthlessness. Which is wrong too, but that’s theirs to resolve. Remember: what they express is only a projection of how they feel about themselves, so just take it for that.
Who you are is part of your image and I feel that growing a “thicker skin” is a change for the worst. Your blog gives out the same image as that photo shoot: a nice, honest, good person. Not a hardened and tough person, and that is all part of your charming personality.
Putting a donation button and ads on your blog is absolutely logical. While reading the Inq articles, I kept wondering WHEN you would see some return for all the use your image has gotten. People’s donations are one way it can happen.
One last thing: What’s up with them rolls of fat on your bum? Just kidding, you look great. Sign me up for a T-shirt anytime.
You should not feel awkward having advertising on your blog – so long as the blog is not solely about advertising.
One fairly famous fellow (well, maybe only famous among computer type people) is Dan from Dan’s Data and he certainly has no shame about begging people for money to keep his site going.
For all those silly people that think the “Everywhere Girl” is a sell out………If I met you, we would have some words. But since I won’t ever meet you, I will just say this………I have known “Everywhere Girl” for about 15 years and I will tell you that she is one of the most generous, honest, loving, and considerate people I know. Not to mention a great sense of humor. She will be the LAST person in the world to change her personality or way of life because of money. She will only use it to make the world a better place.
I agree that you should have an Everywhere Girl line of products. Maybe you could have posters of the pictures from that photoshoot.
Oh! I’m sure you’ve thought of this already, but maybe you could sell that hat that you wear in the photos. You could put an EG logo on it. I know that hat wasn’t yours, but you could just get some random purple hat that’s identical to it, and then put “Everywhere Girl” on it, and then mass-produce it!
Jennifer, Yes I did see you on a fire extinguisher ad. INQ found it:

Keep your chin up about the negativity. Hope things go well for you, you seem like a well-grounded, intelligent young lady.
Oh,what a beautiful blog! I like it very much! I’m agreeable to your point of view!
my name is 整形 I hope to make feiends with you !
