i’m living vicariously through them

So I love the little widget at the bottom of my far-right sidebar* that has links to some random blogs. It is by BlogRush and I like to look at my own blog just so I can see what is on there…I have found some interesting blogs on there, and some not so much…but this weekend I found an awesome one! It is called Ty and Mari’s Mobile Lifestyle Blog and I love it so much. It is the blog of this couple, Ty and Mari (duh), who just recently sold their San Diego house and most of their belongings and bought an RV to be little vagabonds around the U.S. and Canada. Talk about simplifying their life!

I have always wanted to do something like this…sometimes I walk around my house and I get really overwhelmed by my clutter and all my stuff and I wish I just had the guts to sell it all and start over. I also *love* RVs…my grandparents had one when I was growing up and traveling with them was so fun…although it’s a lot easier dealing with an RV when you are a little kid who doesn’t actually have to do any of the hard stuff like driving it, or hooking it up, or dealing with black water…blech. But it is still something I would be interested in doing at some point in my lifetime and I am really enjoying reading about Ty and Mari’s journey!

They seem to be such intriguing people too. They both have their own businesses and are still working while on the road…they were inspired by the Four Hour Work Week, which I want to read ASAP. Mari does coaching and consulting which seems really interesting, and Ty is exactly what I call my boyfriend all the time…a serial entrepreneur! I am just really inspired by what they are doing…

I don’t know how long they are doing it for, but I think they should work it so they can go to Burning Man this year in August! How perfect! I would love to meet them and hear their travelin’ tales…well I guess I will be reading them…haha

The cute picture above is of Mari’s feet (I assume they aren’t Ty’s) and is from a post I really liked…it was for Blog Action Day, and talks about something I was thinking about as soon as I started reading their blog…the environmental impact of living in an RV.
