i ❤ Rev. Ed Bacon because being gay is a gift from God…

I just absolutely love this man…he just nails it. He makes me wish I still lived in Los Angeles so I could go to his church…even though I am not even Christian. Thank The Universe there are people in the world like this!

I love this man too. I am also not gay. But I do beleive that gay rights is the civil rights issue of our time and we need more people like this man to speak out in favor of love for all humanity.

That’s Pretty sick…

Being gay is NOT a gift from God, but an abomination him, because the Bible clearly states…

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. — Lev.20:13

Gayness, lesbian and Homosexuals is abomination to God.

Ariel Allera: Yes, Being Gay is a Gift from God… And why not?

What Ed Bacon and Michael Beckwith said on Oprah is the most liberating and heartwarming statement I’ve ever heard on homosexuality. I’ve never hidden myself in the closet so that after I watched that particular episode on YouTube, I’m now as enlightened as both a gay male citizen in the Philippines and a human being, let alone God’s child. I believe in the Bible and of course in the Word of God, and I know we have to live according to His will. What’s in the Bible can be as broad as far as our minds should be, and so there’s more to it than what it could literally mean. What is definitely for certain (and a hundred-percent the true) is that God’s love is unconditional so that so long as we are at peace with the Lord, no matter what we do or what our decisions are, we will always be guided and should never get lost, and that includes where the thought of being gay is concerned which is, thankfully, a gift from God. Hence, God bless all the gays on earth. (ariel_allera@yahoo.com)

John Stevenson,
Have you ever bothered to READ Leviticus where this quote you use against homosexuals comes from? If you only knew that in that same passage, you will find that eating shellfish is an abomination, mixing fabrics is also an abomination… I could go on and on…. and for all these so called abominations one commit’s, your merciful god says that one should be put to death. Thanks goodness I am atheist and I am more enlightened than people like you who use an antiquated phony book to judge people and spread hate that incites others to cause violence against homosexuals, to kill abortion doctors, etc. I hate most that christians pick and choose what they want to believe and the passages they don’t agree with, they discard. Christians are the hugest hypocrites. I also find that atheists have read the bible more than any christians I have ever met in my lifetime. Christians are all talk and they say they are knowledgeable about their religion but most are ignorant. They just follow their religion because it’s all they know and it’s their crutch.

We should always keep in mind, God loves us just the way we are! He takes us AS IS, so keep it simple and forget the rest, period.
